  • 1.  CCS reports in CSV format

    Dears,

     

    i have a problem with Excel format of CCS reports , it contains alot of data and cannot create pivot table from these files.

    is it possible to have these reports in CSV format .

    It is not. Feel free to reference my case # and enhancement request # to add your voice to getting this functionality BACK into CCS. Why Symantec took it out is beyond me, it's only the top-requested data output from Standards Manager...

    There is a way to have CSV reports but you have to use the Collection-Evaluation-Reporting job wizard.  Then you pick a particular report format and you can choose to export the report as a CSV.  The CSV has a bunch of fields that you will not be able to use, but it may serve your purposes.   I think I was using one of the remediation report templates and not displaying the remediation information.

    Unfortunately, the export is "garbled" and unusable when you choose those options...

    If I can add my thoughts to this.

    If you can get the information you need into a dashboard drill down grid then you may be able to export from there. A bit of a clunky way to do it.
