  • 1.  CCS Standard Has No Checks?

    Posted Feb 28, 2013 02:31 PM

    Hi, I created a standard of all of the February 2013 Patches and ran a data collection job - however when I run the evaluation against the standard it is coming back saying the standard has no check.

    Has anyone ever experienced this?

    I also attached a screen shot below.  Thanks!

    Hi,

    Can we get further details like what all targets were selected for the data collection? Also please let us know which all checks were part of the custom standard created for the this data collection.

    Regards,

    Chetan

    Sounds like the job's targets weren't of the same "type" as the checks in that Standard.

    An easy way to see is to EDIT the job and try to choose a single asset which you think should be included by navigating to the asset folder where that asset resides. See the asset?

    Yes = it's something else

    No = see below

    Check Target Type: Manage-Standards, click on any check in that standard, "Target Type" tab. Look at what's in there and compare to what you have in:

    Check assets: Manage-Assets, click on any asset you think should be included, "Asset Type Properties" tab.

    If the target info doesn't match the asset info, you'll see this sort of message.

    Or, it could just be "preconditions" on each check ruling these assets out...
