I am reporting the following behaviorCCS v11:

Product version: 11.0.10200.1031
Product update version: PU 2013-1
Security content update version: SCU 2012-4
Patch assessment content update version: PACU 2013-12

We are using agents to collect on our Windows 2008 R2 SP1 member servers and domain controllers, Windows 2008 R2 SP1 member servers work without issue. However, our Domain Controllers run on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Server Core Edition. When a collection is run, we receive no error messages and no results. The results are consistent and reproduceable.

The agent is contactable and responds to 'ping'. The Core Servers are recognized by CCS as Windows 2008R2 Servers.

Has CCS been tested and certified on Windows Server 2008 R2 Core Edition?

We are evaluating the servers using the following standard:

CIS Security Configuration Benchmark For Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 v1.1.0

Version: 1.2.3

Have you checked the Target Type inside the Checks?

I had kind of a similar Issue, but unfortunately related to CCS 10.5. (PCU 5)

In my Case i only had to switch the Target Type, becuase Symantec changed a existing Target Type to a more granular one excluding Windows 2008 R2. Maybe your Standard is expecting only non-R2 Targets.

Let me know if this could be the Issue.

Currently, Agented-Windows Core RAW data collection is not supported. (agentless IS supported, and works just fine)

I do have an open feature request on this item... if I hear anything, will respond to this thread.
