  • 1.  CCS11 Application Server and Internet connection

    Hi,

    CCS11 Deployment guide says that Application Service needs access to http://crl.verisign.com and that basically no Internet connectivity can cause installation to fail. Our network policy does not allow servers with direct access to Internet and must use proxy. I was trying to find some information how to configure proxy in CCS11 Application Server but could not find anything in the documentation.

    Can anyone help me here?

    This is only required if you want to use Liveupdate from within CCS (which works now!). The LU system will need to verify the files d/l'd from LU and that's why it's needed.

    If your policy says no internet, then no problem. CCS will install fine. The only functionality you lose (I believe) is LU.

    (I've installed CCS 11 in labs and in production environs without internet access)

    If use LU, we should be able to use proxy...
