CD Burning and FSA recall limit

I have a group within our organization that fields requests to burn files to CDs.  These files can be located anywhere on our network shares on our Netapp filer.  We currently use FSA and when the users are burning CDs, the cd will complete, but with access denied errors on archived files.    It would appear as though they run into the archive recall limit.  In some cases there may be large amounts of files so even increasing the recall limits to the maximum(which isn’t that much) won’t work.  Is there any way around this or can we selectively turn this off for users.  We don’t want to turn burning a CD into a 25 step process for these users either and the burning requests are fairly frequent.

There is the reghack that allows admins to recall more than usual but that might not help you unless you want to make these people admins.

You could look at this - http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/283467.htm but as the previous poster said, ideally you use the admin key but this would need local admin rights for the users.

You have to appreciate why these are put in place. The amount of work involved could kill the server if everyone recalled 100's of files at the same time. By using the limits correctly, you could do the recalls in chunks, and then burn. Failing that, get an admin to do it for them.

Thanks,
