(Edited by Admin) It's just asking do you want users to allow adding centralized exception for various folders and riks, from the client interface .

apart from manager, u can add the centralized exception by opening client interface..centralized exception. ADD..exception.

if u enable this option all users can add whatever they like by opening the sep client interface.

P.S: I have not seen any of your discussions marked, you never got any answer for the issues you posted?? Not many wil waste time and answer queries if you dont mark :)

The restriction set on the client side , which all exceptions can be added.

Normally, when a centralized exception is added from SEPM, those  cannot be  modified, or even seen from the client  side....however, client  restrictions allow you to control the type of exceptions that end user can add

select the typr of exception end user can be add:-

security risk exception:-

Known security risk exception , file exception , folder exception,etc.....

Hello,

Here is the Explaination.

Centralized Exceptions: Client Restrictions

Client Restrictions page is set to specify restrictions for the types of exceptions that users can add.

By default, users can create any type of exception. If you deselect an exception type, the user cannot create any exception of that type.

Note: Users cannot configure Tamper Protection exceptions.

It also means if you check the above check boxes, you want to provide USER rights to create above types of exceptions.
