Centralized Exceptions not showing in the Omitted column for scans
I have SEPM 11.0.5002.333 and all my clients are managed. I recently had to add some Centralilzed Exceptions for a new system we have installed, and I noticed that none of the scans are showing omitted files in my Scan Logs in the Monitor view. The only files that appear in the omitted entry are ones that show an error from the extraction in the decomposer engine.
I have made sure that the policy matches on the client to the exception policy created in SEPM. I have exception types of both Security Risk Extensions and Security Risk Folder set to ignore. I have tried both the absolute path name and the one for [program files] in the Risk Folder exception, and neither appears to work.
I noticed that there is an exclusions folder in my clients' registry under Symantec Endpoint Protection and in Exclusions->Scanning Engines->Directory->Admin->128596731 there is an entry for DirectoryName and it's data is C:\Program Files\Meditech\Print. Yet this folder seems to be scanned.
Could someone please help me with this problem as I need to omit these files from scanning. Thanks.

The exluded files DO NOT show
The exluded files DO NOT show in Omitted Scans. Only Files that fail to scan are shwon in Omitted scans.

Omit from scan altogether?
Vikram,
Thank you for the quick response! I was worried that was the case. Is there no way to completely remove files or folder from being scanned? This is not a big deal now, but I just would like to know for future reference. Thanks again.

Once you set centralized
Once you set centralized exclusion the file/Folder is not scanned..however it won't show that these are the files not scanned.
