This issue has been solved. See solution.

All,

I have a few mailboxes that are enabled, have the quotas set proberly, the provisioning groups are correct, however the mailboxes are consistently at double the quota set on the storage group / mailstore.

I can manually archive the mail box, but it appears that the scheduled job does not seem to archive enough, the usage of the amount of mail seems to be about average, but there is about ~10 mailboxes that are above the "soft quotas" that are set.

If you have any ideas of what may be happening with these accounts, any feedback would be appreciated.

Regards,

Steve

Run a report mode against them and see what is eligilbe or would be archived.  Could be the policy for them is not aggressive enough.

What is your archive policy?

If necessary, you can create a provisioning group and new policy for them that is more aggressive.

Hi Steve, When you run a

 Hi Steve,

When you run a report mode of the archiving task, check the 'Mailbox State' of the mailboxes that are not archiving.
I had a similar situation recently at one of my customers. For some reason some mailboxes were in 'suspended' state resulting in a bypass during archiving.
In this case no errors are logged in the event logs.

cheers,

Rudy
