certificate error after install symantec 12.1 on unmanage
I have open all the explorer (IE, Mozzila, Google Crome)
Hmm, never seen this with SEP, what happens if you remove it? Did it work before install?
Is your PCs clock set correctly (current date/time)?
What componens are in use and what is the exact SEP version?
did you check after uninstall sep client ?
try by unchecking the SEP add on in IE..are u able access after that without error message?
Can you post a screenshot of the certificate the browser is reporting for google? Is it getting swapped out by a proxy server or something?
Agree with _Brian
I have also not seen this issue before that
As per your attach snapshot, i have seen that time is not exact at clock.
It's shown as 01/01/00.
Update the time with current year and try to acces
if uninstalling SEP or making it managed client does the error goes off?
System is only use for refreshment of user not in production and not possible to make as manage.
I only tried to access the system with stop smc but issue is same
tomorrow i will check other mention comments troubleshoot.
I would first verify it works as expected without SEP. Once confirmed SEP may be the problem, we can troubleshoot further.
Before i install the SEP i have used the Internet on system, it worked fine. I have downloaded the definition manually from website and go it from google. After 2 days user reported me the issue. I think that this issue come after install the SEP.
Did you try to uninstall sep client and check issue resolved or not ?
This failed to work recently and discovered that a recent update caused that problem, this was resolved by removing that update (KB2661254).
Please remove KB2661254 patch
