Change alert subject line

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I need a way to change the subject lines of email alerts sent by Backup Exec 2010.

For example, a job finishes with a exception, an alert is sent

"Backup Exec Alert: Job Completed with Exceptions (Server: "VM5") (Job: "Recieving_PartPics_Job_Weekly_Full")"

That is 110 characters long, way too long to be seen on a mobile device.

If that subject could be changed to read:

"BE Alert: Job Exceptions (Job: "Recieving_PartPics_Job_Weekly_Full")"

That 110 characters subject line is now only 68 characters.

Those are system defined alerts notifications which you get . You cannot change them .You may want to add this to the Ideas area of the forum

if enough people give it a thumbs up, it may be added in a future release
