    Hi There,

We are implementing a new Citrix Farm and we want to use Provisioning Services. This means that everytime that a machine boots, it's a new machine. The problem is the Virus Definitions. With this system, we are going to fully update the virus definitions everyday and we want to prevent this. I'm sure that this isn't a new problem. Someone know how to solvit?

    Thanks

I am afraid the solution cannot be easily solved from Symantec side - have a look on some recommendations forom citrix:

    http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX124185

    Furthermore as mentioned in http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH123419:

    - using something like "difference image mode" onthe citrix vdisc and allow the image to cache the updated defintiions would be here possible the best solution to avoid the SEP clients downloading full defs every day.
