  • 1.  Change IP address in SBG 8

    Hi,
    I need to change the IP address and defualt gateway from the console on ou SBG 8 virtual machine.  What are the commands to do it?

    Hi ,,

    Well for reconfiguring IP, Gateway, DNS run >clear osconfig command from console.

    After running this command it will reboot the appliance, once appliance rebooted bootstrap process will start and ask you for IP details and hostname.

    revert if need more clarification.

    Alternative way is to logon on the Control Center, go to Administration -> Configuration -> Edit the Host -> Ethernet Tab

    Make the necessary changes, then Click Save.

    Hello Mike.

    I have tried clear osconfig but it couldnt work even restarting the server thrice i was able to see the same IP address of previous.
