  • 1.  Change password for Symantec SQL Database User

    I need to changed the password for the Databse USer password in SQL.

    What are the steps to be followed? How to ensure the after password changed , Symantec still works normals.

    Should I run the symantec configuration manager? If so, how to re-run the Symantec Configuration Manager?

    yes change the password in SQL studio and then run the MSCW in all the sepm in all the sites.

     

    take a backup of ur db and server private key backup as a precautionary step before changing the password

    Changed passord and ran MSCW on the first node.

    Stuck at 84% since 45 minutes. somebody help

    Yes it took 3.5 hours to get completed. It was a real headache. Issue Solved.

    I am happy to hear that your issue is solved, have you tested your SEPM functionality post the password change by generating logs and reports ?
