  • 1.  Change Pushed update file download location

Looking to see if its possible to change the default location of the pushed Autoupdate from our Universal Server.  Currently goes to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\PGP Corporation\PGP.  Is there a way to change this location to something like C:\Program Files\PGP Corporation\PGP Desktop?  Or is there a way to remove/disable the "Remind Me Later" option on the popup message?

My company currently uses roaming profiles and if this file is left there it causes profiles to not update as it puts the profile over the size limit.

Also with new administrative UI in US 3.2 when using Firefox 5, any window that needs to pop up within US requires me to login again and loops when I try to same steps.  But when I user IE 6 it works fine.

The c:\documents and settings\username\application data\pgp corporation\PGP folder is the default location for all that users pgp data. I am not sure that there is a method to change the autoupdate download location as you describe. But you can disable the auto-update completely and push the MSI out to your clients through something like group policy or a third party patch/software deployment software.

Regarding the problem with Firefox 5. I am using Firefox 5 and don't have any troubles currently. But I have seen the issue that you are describing with IE and CHrome as well. It usually just involves clearing the cookies and cache on that browser, or using another browser. It's usually related to a token/cookie that is left behind.

Clearing my cookies and cache seems to have fixed that issue.  Thanks for the info on the autoupdate as well.
