Hi Guys

I Changed the account that the services logs onto for Altiris. Now I'm getting the below error message.

Line 108: The following line makes this site run under the NS service account credentials.

Line 109: -->

Line 110:<identity impersonate="true" userName="registry:HKLM\Software\Altiris\eXpress\Notification Server\AppIdentity,user" password="registry:HKLM\Software\Altiris\eXpress\Notification Server\AppIdentity,pwd" />

Line 111: <!-- AUTHORIZATION

Line 112: This section sets the authorization policies of the application. You can allow or deny access

I've tried the running the below command but still get the same error message.

"C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\bin\AeXConfig.exe /svcid useruser name) passwordpassword)]"

I've also tried changing the service account back to what it was but that hasn't help ever.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Cheers,

Brett Wright

Brett,

How did you change it? The proper way is to set it withing Altiris, under the configuration tab -> server settings -notification server settings -> application identity. That allows you to reset the services properly.

See if this link helps:https://kb.altiris.com/article.asp?article=23362&p=1

Cheers,

Jim
