Hi,
I know the following article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH48035
BUT... how do I do it in a Veritas cluster mode?
I have 7 active nodes out of 15 EV servers in general...
when I change the password from the VAC - how can I make sure it being changed on all 15 servers?
Do I need to go server by server and change the services password separately?
Thanks.

Hello Sarah,
I believe that this will change the password on all nodes.
In older EV versions, you had to do it on the services, but in newer releases you need to do it from the console.
I have no experience with Clustered EV, but I assume it will work as described in the doc.

I assumed it as well, but testing in the LAB env I got error - cannot change password from VAC.
Gonna open a Symantec case
Important:
Once you update the password in the VAC it will change the DCOM components password on the ACTIVE nodes only!
The correct way is to finish steps 1-7 in the active nodes, switch systems to the non-active nodes and redo steps 6 & 7 again.
Once ALL nodes in Veritas cluster environment are holding Admin & Directory services and DCOM components were updates on all nodes, you can switch to step 8.
The steps are:
1. Offline all resource in VCS.
2. Freeze the service group for EV.
3. Change the password in AD then service accounts via Services.msc
4. Unfreeze the service groups
5. Online all server resources in Veritas Cluster.
6. Online only Admin & Directory Service.
7. Open VAC console, right click Directory --> properties, service account tab, update new password.
8. Bring up rest of Services online from Veritas MGMT.
