Changing the Automation lock screen image
Hi all,
We are running altiris at a highschool and the default automation screen locking image basically just says "Altiris Automation". This for some reason seems to translate to "restart me" if you are a highschool student. My question is, can I change the default image to a custom bmp so that I can write a custom "do not touch" message on the screen so that the students know something is actually happening to the machine and its not just frozen?
I did a search for *.bmp in the altiris directories however could not find the actual image that is being displayed. The ones I found were a green background and had the Symantec logo in the top left hand corner, the one that is being displayed is a blue image and has the Altiris logo being displayed in the top left hand corner.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the location of the ( I assume bmp file)? Or how I can go about specifying a custom file?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Mark
Running: Altiris Version 6.9 Build 430

Hope this answers the question!

Thanks for that. We were still using the MS-Dos boot but I have finally just upgraded to the Wim. Changing the images and then a re-generation using bdc fixed the issue.
