I am using PGP Desktop Corporate 10.1, and need to change my keys due to PCI compliance. I can not find instructions on how to do it, has anyone done it recently?

    Thanks,

    Phil

If there is a policy associated with the users\keys you have to change, you can make the change under Consumer Policy options for that specific policy on the Universal server under Keys. The next time the user logs in they will be prompted for a key mode change. This can also be done manually from the Dekstop, info. in the User guide under "Key Mode".

If you are not in a PGP Universal managed setting, you can generate a new key from the File menu of PGP Desktop (New PGP Key).  If you no longer need to be able able to sign with your currently existing key, you can right click on it and choose Revoke.  When you revoke a key, it can still be used to decrypt files encrypted to it, and can verify signatures made by it, but you can no longer either encrypt to it, or sign with it.

Thanks Tom, is there a set on instruction somewhere on the symantec site or something you can down load like a user manual?

You can download the 10.1 User Guide from this Knowledge Base Article:
