    Hi everybody

I'm having big problems with a Symantec Endpoint Protection Installation: I have a Master in Switzerland and an additional Site in US. There, I had installed SEPM on a Server called "mgt". Then, I had some problems with the installation because on my Master in CH, there wasn't enough space for 1.5 Volume of the DB.

Then in between, we decided, that it would be better to have the SEPM in US on the Server "dep" - so I restartet the Replication-Try from this server. It finally worked but:
No, it has still the "mgt" in Site US installed and even worse: it thinks, "mgt" is the Master of the Site US. It doesn't exist any more and the real master of the Site US should be "dep".

What can I do to change the Master without reinstalling Site US, CH and each Server.

    Thanks a lot!

I am not  sure, if I am able to get  your  environmental details correctly, but I think, you can try  changing the replication server  priority, from Admin-Servers

I am not so clear about your problem.Any way the server you installed first (The first site) will be the master server and all other servers installed after that (Additional site) will be the additional sites.Once installed as master server/additional server it is not possible to change after that. There is only one master server is possible. All additional servers will be replicated with mastter server only.It is not possible to replicate between additional servers directly. If you are bothered about the bandwidth usage at intial and or future replications follow the procedure in the below KB
