  • 1.  Changing Symantec endpoint Manager's content IIS Virtual root

I have discovered that by installing SEM on my WSUS server that it has overwritten the Content virtual root.  Is there a way to rename one of them so they can exist on the same server with out creating a new website and assigning a new ip address?  If not is there a way to configure SEM to use the same directory as WSUS so the virtual root can just point to one directory and both applications store their data in there?

    TIA

    Hi Paul,
I came across this problem as well.  This post may help you:

I opted to uninstall WSUS (but without removing the database, log files or downloaded update files). I then reinstalled WSUS, setting it to use the existing database and content files,  in a new IIS website which was automatically created on port 8530.
Once that was done I had to manually recreate the Content virtual directory on the default website used by SEPM and update group policy with the new URL of my WSUS server http://servername:8530.
