Data Loss Prevention

A customer of mine is asking if they can replace the Vontu logo that is part of the email notifications they send (scheduled reports).  I know about the way to change the banner and the login screen.  I also found a file called logo-DLPprint.gif that matches the image that is shown in the emails.  However after replacing it the tool continues to send emails with the original image.

I check all the css files that invoke images, looked at the entire machine for gif and png files; to check on any other possible location for that image, so far, no luck.

The folders I am looking at are:

/opt/SymantecDLP/Protect/tomcat/webapps/ProtectManager/graphics

/opt/SymantecDLP/Protect/tomcat/webapps/ProtectManager/graphics/general

Any hint will be greatly appreaciated.

You're really close. The file you want to change for emailed reports is going to be DLPBannerEmail.gif (at least in 12.0.1 but I don't think it's likely to have changed in recent versions.)

Path:

/opt/Vontu/Protect/tomcat/webapps/ProtectManager/graphics/general

Give that a try and see how it works. Obviously when DLP gets updated it will probably get overwritten back to the original.
