Charitable licensing for Whole Disk Encryption

Hello Everyone,

I'm doing some work for a charity.  They're in need of some whole disk encryption software.  I believe PGP desktop used to provide charitable licenses for free, but I'm not sure what the current arrangement is.

The key features I need are management escrow, multiple users on the same workstation and syncing with the Windows password

The main security concern here is to provide protection in the event of theft or loss of the systems.  It would be nice to protect one user's home directory from another, but I don't believe PGP desktop can provide that level of encryption... (Correct me if I'm wrong)

So my questions are:

1. is this a reasonable solution?

2. how do I obtain licenses or product at charitable rates?

3. where can I find an evaluation copy to test the configuration?

Thansks for any help you can provide,

Hello, Visit Techsoup, you

Hello,

Visit Techsoup, you can apply to get free software from Symantec there. I used to work at Science Center, and Symantec was great at providing some of the needed Security Software to protect our non-profit environment.
