What version of DLP are you on?  DLP 12.5+ has a checkin time for the agents of 900 seconds, 15 minutes.  That can be changed in the Advaned Agent Configuration.

A couple of other ways you can "force" a check in is to restart the computer or run a troubleshooting task to restart the agent.

    Hello,

The best way to know if the agent/machine received updates from EPS/enforce (policies, agent config update, etc.) is checking when the file cg.ead was modified for the last time on the machine/agent.

This file can be found here: \Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\cg.ead
