  • 1.  Check DLP agent version from user machine

    Hi, how to check whats the dlp agent version running in specific machine opening the user machine and not from the DLP console? Specially if the user has no admin rights. There is some easy solution for it? Thanks in advance .

    Hello,

    My understanding is that the user can't see the services EDPA/WDP since he has no special privileges in the machine / admin rights.

     

    Do the following: Going to  Add or Remove Programs, look for a program called Agent or AgentInstall from Publisher=Symantec Corp. The version of the program shows you exactly the version of the DLP Agent running.
