    Hello everyone

some days ago a client question me if exist a  checklist that can we use like base for configuration Symantec messaging gateway 10.x

will send the best practices of the product taken from page all connect but the client tells me that does not work, you need a template to check if the settings with which now has this well done, as this was cast by the previous manager, looking for something similiar to what used to Active Directory.

anyone know if there is something?

Well, the default configuration is our best suggestion, so what exactly is it they are looking for? Everyone's environment is different, but the defaults are the recommended settings for the majority of environments.

Is it something like this that they need?

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO92759

It sounds like they just need to read the Administration Guide if they need to understand how the product works.

When you are logged in to the Messaging Gateway, there is a gear icon in the top right which has a Help item. That will pop up a window with the built-in help files with all of that information in it.
