CheckPoint Collector

Hello,

Currently we use Check Point(R) FireWall-1 Event Collector v4.2.

But for an unexplainable reason this collector stops working sometimes... the solution (at the moment) is to reboot the SSIM appliance.

Did anyone of you experience this problem in the past?

What version of SSIM are you using? Can you copy/paste the /etc/ssim-history contents to this thread?

We are currently using Version 4.5.1.15

the ssim-history content is this:

SSIM version : 4.5.0.113 installed at Mon Feb 19 10:23:34 CET 2007
SESA Version (v 2.5.2.18) installed at Mon Feb 19 10:23:34 CET 2007
SSIM 4.5.0 Hotfix 1 : Mon Feb 19 12:22:16 CET 2007

Hi Wouter,

It sounds like you should contact Support, if you haven't yet done so. They will be able to assist you in gathering the necessary log files for resolving the problem you are experiencing.
