Choose the right version

Hello!
I have one server with Win 2008 Server Business Edition (and Microsoft Exchange), 5 clients with outlook and virtual folders and I need to backup data (both emails and files) on DAT.
I found two versions having the same name ""Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 per Windows Small Business Servers Standard Edition" but different code numbers: 14173696 and 14173697. Since there is also a difference in cost, could someone help me in finding the most suitable one or obtaining the difference between the two?
Thanks...
Simone

hello
Hello,
If you have windows 2008 SBS edition and exchange is installed on the same server go for the BEWS SBS edition as that includes the license for exchange, and u need not purchase the excahnge license.
just another thing the two different editions of BE wht u see is for 2003 servers one for standard edition and other one for the SBS premium edition,
however for ur setup i would suggest u go in for the BE 12.5 per Windows Small Business Servers Standard Edition.
let me know if this resolves ur issue
HI
There is no difference in either one . both are excatly the same . With Sbs you get two different license Standart and enterpise for SBS . but the download is same for both

I solved it today. I saw there are two version, standard and premium as you said, but I hadn't understood if the difference is only for the windows licence you have, or if different licence has different (for example) modules... You said the download is the same which is not written in any place (I mean in the symantec website, because even if the download is the same the functionalities activated with the licence could be different).
Anyway I downloaded the datasheet in which there are written the modules included in the standard and in the premium edition. Since the standard one already include file backup and exchange basic backup and since I've win 2008 SBS standard, I think I'll buy backup exec standard version.
N.B. The store called the two product code the same way but I discovered they are different. One is the standard edition and the other is the standard FULL one, which I think is the premium version.
Thanks!
