    In trying to understand how clients can work with XenApp, located the below in the system requirements documentation for DLP v12:
     
    Symantec_DLP_12.0_System_Requirements_Guide.pdf:
    Page 34:
     
    Symantec tests indicate that the Symantec DLP Agent software
    can support a maximum of 40 simultaneous clients per Citrix
    server. However, detection performance varies depending on the
    server hardware, the type of applications that are used, and the
    activities that Citrix clients perform. You must verify the
    Symantec DLP Agent performance characteristics for your
    environment.
     
    What should clients do when they have more than 40 simultaneous clients per server? Looking for any best practices...

    ADILT..

    The idea here is to make sure that the endpoint server can handle the number of Endpoint Transactions that might take place.

    So the reccomendation is to tune the Citrix Servers to ONLY allow about 40 different Citrix sessions per Citrix Server. The DLP AGENT can handle about 40 Citrix Sessions per server. Then have another Citrix Server manage another 40 Citrix Sessions per Citrix Server.

    In your environment you must control the # of Citrix Sessions per Citirx Server. Do you now what that limitation is? It will be dependent on the Citrix Servrer Specs.

    When it comes to the number of Agents that a DLP ENDPONT SERVER can handle then falls back to the Scaling guides (See the attchament). An Endpoint Server can handle 1000's of DLP Agents. So that means an Endpoint Server can handle a lot of Citrix Servers.

    VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure that you ONLY have Citrix Agents report to a DEDICATED Endpoint Server that ONLY manages Citrix Agents.
