Cleanning is Failing with error code 59

We are getting Below error while running Cleanning on a given Drive

IBM.ULTRIUM-HH5.001 on  daemon failed accepting connection(59)

You need to give us more info:

Is tape drive in a robot?

Do you have cleaning tapes defined and available in NBU?

Are all Media Manager processes running on the media server where drive is attached?

Please post output of the following on the media server:

bpps
   (In <install-path>\netbackup\bin)

vmoprcmd -d
tpconfig -l
   (In <install-path>\volmgr\bin)

 

Extract from NBU Status Code manual:

 

Media Manager status code 59
Message: daemon failed accepting connection
Explanation: vmd cannot accept a new connection due to a system call failure.
(vmd is the NetBackup Volume Manager daemon on UNIX and Linux and the
NetBackup Volume Manager service on Windows.)
■ Examine the daemon debug log for a more detailed message on the system
error. Examine command output, debug logs, and system logs for a more
detailed message on the error.
■ Obtain the specific system call failure from the debug log, and investigate the
operating system functionality that is related to the failure.
