CleanWipe for 64-bit Server

Hello!

I understand there is CleanWipe for 32-bit Workstation, but what about for 64-bit Server?

What versions of CleanWipe exist, and what platforms do they support?

Cleanwipe 6.2 supports both

Cleanwipe 6.2 (latest) supports both 32 and 64 bit OS's.

Tool supports the following OS's:

  • XP 32/64
  • Vista 32/64
  • 2000 32/64
  • 2003 32/64
  • 2008 Server 32/64
  • Windows 7 32/64

Cleanwipe are for both 32 and 64 OS and Always use the latest version of Cleanwipe as pointed out by Thomas above.

The latest version of cleanwipe (6.2) will work on 64 and 32 bit

The latest version of cleanwipe (6.2) will work on 64 and 32 bit operating system. Ensure that you use version 6.2 only.

To run CleanWipe on 32-bit operating systems:
---------------------------------------------
1. Copy the CleanWipe folder to the target computer.

2. Open the CleanWipe folder and double-click the CleanWipe.exe file.

3. When you are prompted, browse to a location where you want the files to be copied and then click Start to extract the files. 

If you click Start without selecting a location, the files are extracted to the Windows\Temp folder.

4. When you are asked if you want to run CleanWipe now, click Yes to run CleanWipe immediately; click no to run CleanWipe later.

5. As you run CleanWipe, you are prompted several times.

If you choose to run CleanWipe later, browse to the CleanWipe\app folder and double-click the RunCleanWipe.bat batch file. Remember to click Yes in response to all prompts.

To run CleanWipe on 64-bit operating systems:
---------------------------------------------
1. Copy the CleanWipe folder to the target computer.

2. Open the CleanWipe folder and double-click the CleanWipe.exe file.

3. When you are prompted, browse to a location where you want the files to be copied and then click Start to extract the files. 

If you click Start without selecting a location, the files are extracted to the Windows\Temp folder.

4. CleanWipe cannot automatically launch after you extract it on 64-bit operating systems, so change directory to the CleanWipe\app folder and double-click the RunCleanWipe.bat batch file.

CleanWipe_v6.2 Tool

Hello,

CleanWipe_v6.2 Tool (1600 kb)

Now removes SCS 3.1 Quarantine and SCFPolcy folder.
 

Tool supports the following OS's:

 

  •  XP 32/64
     
  •  Vista 32/64
     
  •  2000 32/64
     
  •  2003 32/64
     
  •  2008 Server 32/64
     
  •  Windows 7 32/64

 

Use this version for both SEP and SAV installs. This will remove the VirusDefs Folder everytime.

The latest version of cleanwipe (6.2) will work on 64 and 32 bit operating system. Ensure that you use version 6.2 only.
