  • 1.  Client with agents installed not connecting correctly after purge

    Hi

     

    We purge clients after 2 weeks of no activity. These clients come back on line but does not show that they have the agents installed. Because of this the agent is trying to install and is causing alot of network traffic. How do I get the clients to update there configs and baseline to altiris?

    Is purging deleting these resources or just retiring them?

    If the former, then there shouldnt be any problem with them reconnecting with the SMP.

    If the latter, then they may have to run a full inventory scan before the SMP will change their status.
