This issue has been solved. See solution.

My clients are getting the updates from the SEPM server, but I have event logs full of "SescLU Event ID: 13"

Not causing issues, just like to stop the "SescLU Event ID: 13"

Sesclu gives Event ID: 13 in the Windows Application log and definitions do not update.

Try the above steps on one machine and see if that helps

So you mean to say the clients are getting updated , but you get the error in the event viewer?

Yes, 2008 Server - 64 bit.

What is PTP?  Precision Time Protocol ??

yes. it is proactive threat protection.

This tried to update the definition, which fails hence these event id's. Removing PTP will stop the events from occuring. Let know once you remove the PTP component.

I only use SEPM for AV. Should I then disable PTP?
