Hello.
We are using the cloud hosted version of SEP. We have installed the Agent on all our laptops (win 7 and win 8). Things are working fine.
However, we are changing the Hostname of the laptops to follow a nomenclature. We are doing this at individual laptop level and then rebooting the laptop after hostname change. This is a workgroup environment.
However, the new hostname does not reflect in our management console (this is hosted on Symantec Cloud).
I am still able to trigger a threat scan from the management console, meaning , the communication is fine. However, under "Computers" tab, it shows all old hostnames and Aliases.
Please suggest what I might be missing here.
