Console timeouts, and login error messages dramatically slow my upgrade process.
Scenario: I run a "Search Clients" in SEPM to find clients that fall outside of a specific sepm version. After I collect my list of clients, I copy them from the console into a txt file. I then input the text file into either the Client Deployment Wizard, or the Push Deployment Wizard. This is where the problem begins.
Instead of mine choosing a stacked list of account credentials, and initiating the Push. Symantec takes my TXT list and querrries each individual machine. If the machine is NOT online, it throws up an error saying login failed. If the account credentials are wrong it says login failed and gives me the option to try each possible cred manually, typing them in EVERY time. The "Configure Network Timeout" doesn't seem to apply to login time thresholds.
The problem is that this list of machines are primarily offline, so each one is takes a VERY long time throwing up credential screens that I have to cancel out of. What I want is just a simple push capability that reports this information after the fact instead of interrupting the push process.
Thanks,
