Client displaying address mac instead of name + unable to refresh configuration

    Hi,

    I have one client displaying address mac instead of name, and this client is unable to refresh configuration.
    The machine is the same that 22 other one ( same hardware and software )
    The machine appears connected in the console

    Here is what i tried :

    - upgrade to the latest version of gss via liveupdate ( BTW i was getting a corruption error by liveupdate resolved by the manual update of liveupdate tool )
    - uninstall/reinstall client several times
    - disable antivirus software
    - upgrade client
    - refresh configuration task
    - watched the log files : nothing about this error
    - read all the topics from people with the same error : none helped.

    How could i try to debug that ?

    I had the same problem a couple years back and there were a couple patches I had to install from Nigel to get it to work.
