client group don't changed

hi
i have problem with SEPM

client change it group but this didn't mentioned in SEPM console

i change the client group next way :
1) smc -stop
2) put needed files sylink.xml and serdef.dat to client directory
3) smc -start

client shows that it changed his group, but in SEPM console client in previous group

please help

Hello,
 
After stopping the Symantec Management Client service, you should stop the Symantec Endpoint Protection service next. Then copy the XML file over and restart the services in reverse order.

it didn't help
may be you didn't understand me clearly - i mean that serdef.dat contains group where client stored

if i put serdef.dat from another group - client changes his group

but in SEPM CONSOLE client stored in old group (in which he was)

please provide another instructions
