    Dear all i have symantec endpoint protection version 11.0.6300. when i am going to install clent at windows 8 operative system it does not install .

    kindly help.

    Your version is not Supported try SEPM 12.1 RU2 or later one.

    SEP 11.x Does not support windows 8.

    SEP 12.1.2 are first version which are supported windows 8

    so should i upgrage it from 11.0.63  to 12.0 version or any patch is available

    Window 8 is not supported in your version.11.0.6300.

    You need to install SEP 12.1 RU2 (12.1.2015.2015) or higher.(suggested Version is 12.1 ru4 mp1a(12.1.4.4130))

    You need to upgrade your license in 12.x

    Follow the article to upgrade your license then after that download the Setup from file connect

    You need to upgrade your SEPM version.

    You need to be on at least SEP 12.1.2 to install on Windows 8.
