Endpoint Protection

Hi,

I have installed new 12.1 sep manager however I cannot find the settings or add/modify a default package settings or to add a client install package only with feature of Antivirus and Antispyware. From the admin export client install package, select the feature you want to use(I can only choose Full protection for client or Full protection for Server, or Basic protection for Server). In 11.0.5 version I have this feature(I can choose only Antivirus and Antispyware while exporting a client package) but in 12.1 I couldnot find the above mentioned.

In simple - I need a client instal package only with Antivirus and Antispyware.

I think I found a way - not sure as this the correct one.

From the client install feature set, add a client install feature, named as AV and AS only, then select only AV part, untick others, then save it. Now I found the newly added AV and AS only while exporting a client package under select feature tab.

Need to test this package to make sure - whether the task accomplished or not.

You are correct.

With SEP 12.1 Symantec is providing custom created packages which are most commonly used & those are Full protection for client or Full protection for Server, or Basic protection for Server,

However you can create custom package as per your business requirement.
