I have a client runnin image level backup ( whole vm ) in flash backup-windows policy

and i have 3 policies likewise and as a part of an activity i just remove the vm client from exixting policy and then added it to another flashbackup policy in the same server

just a name is differed

a day before it runs incremental with old policy and now in the same server with new policy it runs full or incremental..?

It will run Full backup as it has no previous incremental under the new policy.

Ohh great could you pls explain me wat reason.

If this is a case why do we mentioned incremental in schedule it wont leave any marks of yesterdays backup with old policy

NetBackup handles incremental backup based on policy - not client. It is basic considerations for backup planning with NetBackup.

If there are no previous full backup with specified policy, next incremental backs up all of target files. Or depending on policy type, incremental backups will fail until next successful full backup.

As in ur way If i delete the client from same policy today and add it again  for tommorow in the same policy wat does happpens.

If it takes changes wat are the check points it has to refer it.

It works based on policy ok is there any time frame..
