  • 1.  Client List dissapeared without notice.

    Hello fellows,

I was setting the config of this manager last week everything was going nicely untill the next day. I logged on the manager and my client list was gone. So now I cannot submit scans, updates or manage the clients. I tried to find a way to get the list back but I'm pretty new with this manager and I did not find anything to help me.

Here are the things I tried:

1- Few days before I found out how to make a back up so I made one. I tried to restore it in hope that my client list would be back. Unfortunately it wasn't.

2- I tried to recreate the folder (My company-->*company name that dissapeared*) In hope that all the clients would apeare... Still no.

3- I tried to reinstall the client manager with the wizard. Did not work.

I do not know how the list dissapeared. I was working on it one day and 2 days after it was gone.

I would like to have some help there. I really don't know what to do with this. I wish my list would come back so I can continue to work on my policies and more.

    regards,

I just had the same thing happen.
All clients and groups missing from display.  All custom policies missing.
We are using SEPM 10.0.4000.2295 and SEP 11.0.4010.19 and SEP 11.0.4014.26
    Any advice?

What is the status of SEP on the client, does the icon have a green dot even if the clien list disappeared?

    Our problem is fixed.
Somehow, we had changed the domain from Default to our active directory domain.
From SEPM, Admin, Domains, Select default, click Administer Domain.
John from symantec tech support found it.
One thing that clued him in was the domain IDs that were in the logs.
Also, when looking at the Home page, clients would show correctly in the blocked and Quarantined lists.
