  • 1.  Client locks up when Ghost loads

I have a problem with a GSS 2.0 server and some clients. I had this resolved in the past, but my PC crashed and when IT reinstalled everything, I lost the database.

I have some older Toshiba laptops using Intel Pro100 Ethernet drivers, and a year ago tech support gave me a command line setting for the clone operation. It was of course lost with the crash, and I can't find it printed. When the client machine reboots to load Ghost, I get a gray and blue screen but it never connects and starts the download. The client is not locked up, as it responds to a Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Any idea what command line options to add on the Clone tab in Advanced to stop this and get it to accept an image?

As an addendum, after reading other posts here I tried the -noide and -nosub and -nousb options, and none of them resolved the problem. The -nousb one at least got me a different message. With the -nousb switch, it actually shows text on the bottom of the screen saying it is trying to communicate, then it fails and says it could not contact the server. None of the others even made a difference.
