I quoted the closed thread as asked by maciej but see no more response or interest in this issue.  I am not sure what is up?  Im feeling pretty helpless or stupid that unless I am overlooking a very obvioius solution that there is a bug on my symantec protected network and I can only get help from the Google community for any information. Why would symantec allow this to go on for weeks without communication?  Or only One communication and that one was to identify ANY OTHER individual with the same question!

Well in these situations when response is minimal, you should open a support case. This forum does not provide official support, it's just the user community as well as Symantec employees who do it on their free time.

From what I can gather, you may have some malicious activity occurring on a PC? Is it exhibiting any other signs other than that protocol showing up?

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

In the LAN properties what is showing? Here is a screenshot of mine:

Brian has it right on a number of levels. There are plenty of people around on the forums that would like to help you, we just need some clarification of what you need help with.

"Any suggestion on "Client for Microsoft Sharing" service" just isn't enough information to help you.

Screenshots would be great. Explanation of what you need help with would be great.
