Hi,

I'm trying to backup a Hyper-V Virtual Machine which is stored in a Cluster Shared Volume, in a Failover Cluster. I've followed all the steps described in the "Symantec NetBackup for Hyper-V Guide" pdf to configure the backup policy. When the backup starts, just after the VSS snapshot is taken (successfully) the jobs fails and ends this way:

May 25, 2011 4:44:32 PM - estimated 0 kbytes needed
May 25, 2011 4:44:32 PM - started process bpbrm (pid=24825)
May 25, 2011 4:44:41 PM - Error bpbrm (pid=24838) bpcd on MyVM exited with status 39: client name mismatch
May 25, 2011 4:44:42 PM - Error bpbrm (pid=24825) cannot send mail because BPCD on MyVM exited with status 39: client name mismatch
May 25, 2011 4:44:43 PM - Error bpbrm (pid=24825) db_getIMAGE failed: an invalid entry was encountered (223)
May 25, 2011 4:44:41 PM - connecting
May 25, 2011 4:44:41 PM - mounting MLT10B
May 25, 2011 4:44:42 PM - end writing
client name mismatch  (39)

I checked the article TECH130605 but the two mentioned registry keys already have the right values (the Hyper-V host name). I'm sure that the Hyper-V cluster name inside the backup policy is correct, and the VM name inside the "Clients" tab too.

I'm using NetBackup 7, and the backup agents for Hyper-V are installed on the Hyper-V hosts.

Could anyone help me, please?

Tks,

Eduardo
