I have configured an Internal Liveupdate server ,its download completes and distribution rans successfully .

Now on the clients its connected successfully to liveupdate server ,but after download the catalog file

LiveUpdate session is complete.

None of the clients is not updating by LUA ,

How many clients are there?

Run the symhelp tool to check for issues.

Around 5000+ clients are there.

Is it possible to updates clients through Internal Live update server ;if SEPM fails.

LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) creates a local repository of the content and product updates available on the public LiveUpdate (LU) servers. Under the right circumstances, LUA can be used to minimize the amount of external bandwidth needed to update Symantec products in large, highly centralized networks. The main reasons for installing LUA are:

• Testing content updates before distributing them to production environments
• Reduced bandwidth utilization when updating unmanaged Symantec products
• An internal failover mechanism for updating managed Symantec products
• Consolidated management of updates for multiple Symantec products in secure environments

unable to copy the host.liveupdate on sep clients as most of clients on differnet geographic locations

Created an entry for the internal Live updated server on the SEPM client policies rather than importing the host live update file .

how to cross check on sep clients whether it is listensing to LUA for updation
