  • 1.  client problem

    when i installed clients on windows 8 platforms, all the systems crashed which forced me to recover the system in order to get my computers back to live again.

    notice the i have endpoint enterprise edition 12.1

    I tried the new clients which i downloaded form the link below which the same thing happened.

    Exact version?

    See here:

    Windows 8 compatibility with Endpoint Protection 12.1

    • Windows 8 - Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.2 (RU2) and later.
    • Windows 8.1 - Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4 (RU4) and later.
    • Windows Server 2012 - Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.2 (RU2) and later.

    Are you running a compatible version?

    If so, try installing only AV only. Again it would help to know the version

    have you tried installing only Antivirus and Antispyware? 

    I belive this happens only when you install it along with Network threat protection?
