     migration went OK on a domain PC as unmanaged client. Prior to migration the client security was also unmanaged..
     
    However Sep leave Outlook 2003 disconnected from the exchange server 2003 .
     
    There is  no problem using the dns nor the file server.
     
    no problem connection to the exchange server either in terms of shares.. 
     
     
    the outlook 2003 is using .ost.  when I open outlook, I did get rpompted for the exchanger user and password as usual, just I can get OL to conenct - I keep on getting the disconnected status
     
    Also If I mistype the password  when prompted after opening OL, I get the prompting for ID and password again.
     
     
    I tried looking for firewall settings while login as administrator but I failed to find the appropriate one.
     
    what do I need to fix this the exchange store is not updated problem?
