Hi,

We have SEPM 12.1 management server with 5 Additional sites and LUA 2.3.2.

And every day all management servers get updates from LUA at 12.30PM and clients get updates as soon as definitions avail from defined default management server as per policy definied. (Pullmode with heartbeat 30 Sec).

All client systems located in different geo locations (Branch Offices) with Low WAN connection and from each branch we created GUP system for taking update from Management server. 

Fine, now my problem is, whenever updates available on server, all GUP systems get taking updates from server as per policy defined

Please let me know whether Client updates can be taken from Management server on any specified scheduled time (e.g. at 2PM)

Once SEPM server are updated SEP client automatic update.You can set SEPM server live update schedule

SEPM server update scheduled at 12.30PM every day. 

The problem is for any reason GUP system get turned OFF and turned it ON next day morning, immediately trying to take update from server, meantime network getting high utilization.

You can't scheduled sep client virus defination

You cannot schedule client updates. Thats the one of the feature which is lacking in SEPM.

As a workariund Make all your GUP in PULL mode 4 hours or higher interval and Uncheck Bypass GUP never

Okay, currently am using 12.1 version. If I upgrade to 12.1.4 version whether I'll get the solution for the same problem.

No, you cannot set a schedule for client to get updates from SEPM. This happens automatically during the heartbeat process.
