I have upgraded the version with 12.1.4 on symantec server, now time to update the clients.

Clients count is 5000 divide in 7 group from which one is server group, How can i update it?

You can update your clients using autoupgrade feature. Apply auto upgrade feature on all group one by one except Server Group

For Server Group you can install the client package manually.

For remote client group you can use Push Deployment Wizard

if you have updated your sepm with 12.1.4a, then its applicable only for manager, 

whats the version running on client?

use the auto upgrade feature, note set it group wise so that there is no imapct on bandwidth or SEPm performance.

You can set Auto Upgrade Schedule from Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

Auto-upgrade features help you on this.

Go to Clients Tab>group_name>Install Packages then add and configure the upgrade packages you want to deploy automatically to your SEP clients. Once the SEP client receives this policy (via heartbeat), they will automatically download the package and install it to your SEP clients based on the configuration of SEP client features and install settings you've configured.

Apply this to all the groups you have..
