Clients and Deployment

Having 2 issues:

1. after pushing SEP to clients, the clients don't show up in the SEP Manager.  In addition, the server doesn't event show up under the client list after i install it.
2. Definitions are being downloaded to the management server, but they are not going to the clients.  They don't even go to the server client.

Using SEP 11 MR1 on SBS 03.  Followed best practices for sbs, etc.  Brand new install of server.  No previous versions.

Any advice?

Same problem over here. Using the migration and deployment wizard i am able to deploy the software packages to the clients, but they don't show up in the endpoint administrator. The group is created, but no client appears. Because the client aren't in a group, no policy is applied and no updates occour.....
Using the "find unmanaged computers" button the clients are listed under "Unknown computers". from there it is possible to deploy the software, but still the clients don't appear in the group....

Anyone a idea how to solve this ?

I actually was able to fix my problem.  I noticed that there was no communication between the clients and the manager.  I ended up looking at the security logs on the server and found that the anonymous user IUSR_account was denied access 24x7 as there were hundreds of 529 or 530 errors.  I changed the account to grant logon access 24x7 and the communication started up after a couple minutes.

This doesn't seem to be the problem here, the account has normal access to the server. There are also no security errors in the log files.....
