Clients are not communicating to the manager

    Newly installed symantec clients - version 12.1.4 a

    clients are not connecting - 

    Sylink monitor log : 

    05/06 09:33:38.916 [4524] <SendRegistrationRequest:>http://VSEPAPPPV01:8014
    05/06 09:33:40.010 [4524] <SendRegistrationRequest:>SMS return=500
    05/06 09:33:40.010 [4524] <ParseHTTPStatusCode:>500=>500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
    05/06 09:33:40.010 [4524] <SendRegistrationRequest:>Content Lenght => 538
    05/06 09:33:40.010 [4524] HTTP returns status code=500
    05/06 09:33:40.010 [4524] <SendRegistrationRequest:>RECEIVE STAGE COMPLETED
    05/06 09:33:40.010 [4524] <SendRegistrationRequest:>COMPLETED, returned 5

    Secars test came OK.

    check this if help you

    fter migration to 11.0 RU7 clients are not updating or connecting - Sylink.log 500 internal server error

    Verify that the SEPM service is started and running

    Hi James,

    I followed the mithun troubleshooting - deleted those registry keys and rebooted the computer, still clients are not communicating to the manager.

    We are using version 12.1.4 a, TECH168828 will not be applied here

    Hey Brian,

    Manager is up and running, most of my clients are reporting to the manager.

    Only few servers are not reporting that I deployed two days ago

    Did you try to replace the sylink comms file?

    Yeah, replaced the sylink file, still not reporting to the manager.

    giving the error as "could not process the server"

    Please try below steps.

    1) uninstall sep client using cleanwipe tool.

    2) export new sep package.

    3) reinstall sep client package and check again.

    Uninstalled the sep client, and reinstalled sep client with the new package.

    Still giving the same error message.

    "could not process the server"

    How many system having same problem ?

    Try to install latest sep 12.1.5 package.

    Hi,

    Make sure firewall or proxy connection is not blocking the connection with SEPM.

    Test Browser Communication, Ping & telnet from an Endpoint Protection client to the Endpoint Protection Manager

    If still everything is OK then need a fresh set of Sylink monitor logs to find out possible root cause.

    Checed the scm server 0 log and found out that it was a problem with fgcontent space in SQL, gave unrestricted growth permission 

    Uninstalled the client and reinstalled on the server, it started communicating to the manager.

     Its working now.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

     

    please provide me to replace syslink.exe file for remote location.because all my clients are not connecting to manager.
